THINGS TO KNOW

BEFORE VISITING

Admission

It is free to visit our farm, and no reservation is required. Once here, you can pay to participate in whatever activity you choose, though the children's play area, live bluegrass music, and breathtaking surrounding mountain views are always free!

At Christmas, a reservation is required ONLY for the purchase of a Christmas tree.

Accessibility

Our parking lots, market, taproom, coffee shop, and restrooms are all handicap accessible. The majority of our orchards can only be reached via wagon ride, but we are proud to have a wheelchair lift available on one of our tractor-pulled wagons.

Pet Policy

Pups are welcome to join you for a visit to the farm, but are not allowed in our orchards, on our u-pick wagons, or to enter the hard cider taproom, coffee shop and market area. They are, however, allowed on the shuttles that transport to and from our lower parking lots. If you plan to u-pick, please plan accordingly as they will not be able to join you in the orchard.

Strollers

Strollers and wagons are not allowed on our u-pick wagon rides or in our orchards. You are welcome to park your stroller or wagon before boarding our u-pick wagons. Strollers are allowed, however, on our shuttle wagons giving rides to and from our parking lots.

WHAT TO DO

WHEN VISITING

U-Pick

Our various fruits and flowers become ripe for the picking at different times throughout the harvest season. Click here to see what we are u-picking each weekend, as well as what will be available in our market.

Attractions

We aim to offer activities & attractions that every member of your family can enjoy. From a children's play area to hard cider taproom, we are confident your entire family will enjoy a visit to the farm! See all of the farm's attractions here.

Food & Beverage

Our 1813 BBQ Food Truck is proud to serve in-house smoked pulled pork alongside your favorite southern sides from 11am - 6:30pm each day that our orchards are open.

All other food and beverage options are available from the time we open until we close each day. From fresh apple cider donuts to hard cider, apple cider slushies to hand-crafted coffees from the Orchard Coffee House, we promise you won't go hungry (or thirsty!) during your visit with us!

Live Music

Your day in the Blue Ridge Mountains is made even more magical with some of the area's finest bluegrass. Live music can be enjoyed at the farm every day during Christmas weekends from between 10am and 3 pm. Whether you’re picking fruit in our orchards, shopping the market, or just taking in the stunning views, the soulful strums and southern picking help you fully immerse yourself in a Western North Carolina autumn.

During Christmas weekends at the farm, we are proud to offer live Christmas jazz every open day from 3-6p, except for Nov 30 when music will play from 1:30-4:30p.
